Mats
goes green for the 2010 season
13.11.2009
The Norwegain driver Mats Borge Andersen (15), two time
national championship winner, is making his KF2 debut in 2010.
Mats is part of the greenkarting initiative and hope to show that
supporting the environment also helps him performing on the
track.
Various measures are being done for the upcoming season to
accomodate new systems to handle waste and other items that need
special care when disposed.
During 2010 we will follow Mats both on the track an in the
paddock around in Europe. Sevral races are in the planning and
we are looking forward to good results on the track and for the
environment. |
MBA
Racing preparing for certification
13.11.2009
Claiminng to be environmental friendly requires documentation
and as one of the pioneers in the field, the private kart team
MBA Racing, is preparing for environment certification of the activity.
"As the main part of our activities is on the track during races
and practice, this is the part we are looking to certificate"
says Geir Leret Andersen, team manager. This certification
incudes all aspects of the activity, from transportation of
equipment and personell, to waste management as well as the
emissions from the actual racing on the track. |
